What would be a really unique wedding gift that the bride and groom could keep forever?

I have a friend that is getting married and I want to get or make her something that is very unique and that she will keep forever. I just can’t come up with any ideas. Please help. They are both very outdoorsy and love bass pro shop, they are also into racing and work at a local track a lot.
Jelly of the month club membership! ! ! It’s a gift that keeps on giving! ! !
The one thing you keep forever is memories. My younger brother was a big fan of the public radio program, “Prairie Home Companion.” There was going to be a big reunion show not long after his wedding, so I got him a pair of tickets to the Prairie Home Companion reunion show at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. It was absolutely the perfect gift.
I recommend tickets to a concert for their favorite performers. Perhaps tickets to a major racing event or to a nature program of some sort would be a good choice. Look around and see if there is a fishing class that’s led by a well-known fisherman or author. A similar outdoor activity might be enjoyed by them, such as a nature photography session in a national park. Or get them tickets to the Indy 500 race (or some other big race).
Hope that helps!
Do your best to get them something that they like and if they enjoy it, great. But don’t check up on them to see whether they have put your gift into pride of place. You don’t want them to feel like it is a burden that they have to caretake for the rest of their life.
get them something engraved with the wedding date from thingsremembered.com

Homewetbar.com has a lot of unique gifts to choose from. They are not your average cabinet keepers either. Good luck!

i’d go for something they both can use and will keep forever, like my husband works with a guy that is a hunter, him and his wife hunt, fish, etc, so we bought them a huge gun cabinet for their wedding, yes not traditional at all, but 8 yrs later that gun cabinet is still in their living room, lol, none of their “wedding registry” gifts are still around, so go for something they both will like and use, maybe tickets to a bass pro show, or something like that, good luck.

Maybe get a signature photo frame. Go around and get guests to sign the border of a frame (they make frames specifically for this if you ask at micheals) with messages for the future. Then get a photo of them and put it in the frame, and have it framed nicely. They can change the photo if they want. Plus its sort of an unexpected surprise and something they’ll always have.
boudoir photos (linerie photoshoot)
Get them some really nice new fishing poles, and have their names or wedding date engraved into the handle ( or wood burned would be awesome)
or get them racing hats that say ” team ” last name” and their wedding date
after a year or so, I find it’s cheesy to have wedding mementos hanging around.. we got a few ” special” gifts and not to be rude, but they loose their effect quickly and end up in boxes
definately get them something they can use, not something that will sit on a shelf.
I’ll admit, my suggestion doesn’t fit their interests, per say, but I really love those Willow Tree figurines. They are such beautiful collectibles and I bet they would really love one of the Wedding Willow Tree figurines. They make great gifts and you can even give her her first to start her collection. I love this Willow Tree Promise figurine, http://www.coppinsgifts.com/willow-tree-promise.html or this Together figurine, http://www.coppinsgifts.com/willow-tree-together.html I hope these suggestions help and have fun at your friend’s wedding!
I was going to suggest matching tattoos or a case of herpes; but how about a nice fly-tying kit and maybe matching fly-casting poles instead?
