Please help! I need wedding gift ideas?

I’m not near any major stores. I ordered from registry, but shipping had so many issues they canceled my order, and it’s all out of stock. I now don’t have time to order anything else! I have one thing though, so I need something else that’s about $50 worth. Any ideas? I have some unique shops around, antique shops, etc. Can you give me ideas of what would be appropriate as a wedding gift not from a chain store, and still safe and hopefully well received as a wedding gift?
Otherwise I’m completely lost!
I don’t want to give them money. I’m thinking it’ll have to be unique/unusual given my options for shopping. I just want to know what would be appropriate.
Well, when I get married I want a bunch of people to get me big soft shower towels! The nice thick one. White ones would be perfect as a wedding gift. Good luck!
How well do you know the bride and groom? If it is well, then you should be able to find something neat that they will like. For example, a cool antique martini set if they are foodies or a vintage camera if they are into photography. Think about the kinds of things you would get them for birthday presents and you will be fine.
However, if you don’t know them very well then you are in a bit of a pickle. I would suggest that you get them a gift card to a store on their registry if you aren’t certain what they would like.

Please shop locally. Merchants need the business! Things every couple needs & loves that can cost around $50: a very nice bath towel set. 6-8 crystal glasses (not wine glasses). Think luxury – paying a lot to get a nice thing. You can’t get a fine sheet set for $50 unless you hit the discount store on a lucky day.
A very small table or bookcase from an antique shop if you find a nice one for $50. Everybody needs another small table & bookcase.

I would definitely check out your local stores. I am sure you can find a great deal on something. A set of items for a bar area or nice platters should be a pretty easy find.
? A beautiful photo frame (or album) would be nice. Any type of house decor that’s needed (bath towels, candles, kitchen appliances, etc). Good Luck!
